How to configure your LG TV?
To adjust the channels and get perfect picture quality go to LG main menu:
- select option «Options»,
- In the drop down window, define the country (e.g., USA),
- Go back to the main menu and select «settings»,
- Click «Autodetect» and select the menu «Cable» or others.,
- If your TV has a digital receiver, press «Settings», enter the optimal parameters:
- frequency — 690 000 kHz,
- character rate — 6750 kS/s,
- modulation — 256 QAM,
- Keep the rest of the settings as they are,
- click on the option «Close», then «OK» и «Perform».

- «Contrast» adjusts the brightness/darkness ratio of the image. Plasma panels have the parameter «Cell Brightness» (cell light) affects the overall image brightness. On LCD TVs, the overall brightness of the screen is affected by the «Backlight Brightness» («Backlight contrast»);
- «Sharpness» sharpen the picture so that when you watch TV programs from different distances, you see the same clear picture;
- «Brightness» makes the picture brighter or darkens it;
- «Color» saturates or fades the picture. Display quality pictures (depicting nature or people). Adjust the color saturation setting to make the image look as natural as possible.
Move the cursor up or down to change values. If your settings make the picture worse and you can’t fix it, check your actions. Under «Reset image» press option «Enter».
To adjust the sound:
- go into the «Service Menu» to «Settings»,
- select — «Sound» and determine the tone of the sound.

Don’t watch TV shows in «Dynamic». Excessive brightness tires the eyes, and the non-linear gamut of the picture is often distorted. On most TVs, the best mode among the three («Standard», «Dynamic», «Cinema») is the last.
